At Fernbank we create experiences for our couples and their guests - when you book with us you will work alongside our experienced in-house stylist Essie and owner Meg offering you creative support throughout your journey.
With two beautiful houses providing accommodation for your stay with your family and bridal party it has both a luxurious and relaxed homely feel with complimentary amenities, luxury linen and access to our pool, tennis court, BBQ and gorgeous gardens.
There are a number of beautiful options on the property for your ceremony and with two carriages available on site Leo and Lola can transport the bridal party around the venue in classic style.
Fernbank caters for receptions for up to 120 guests and has its own amazing marquee onsite. Fernbank can provide all styling, equipment and facilities for your special day and welcome you to book a visit with us to see our lovely site and talk about your dream day.

FAQ
Yes, we have two beautiful heritage listed houses that can accommodate up to 18 guests.
Yes, however this must be served via the catering/bar staff, there is no self service of alcohol.
We have selected caterers that work exclusively with us to cater your event.
Yes, unless you have booked our ceremony only option. Prices for each ceremony site will differ though.
The curfew is strictly 10:00pm for all music to stop. All guests vacate the property by 11pm excluding those guests staying in the on-site accomodation.

Hi, I would like to know if wedding venues usually have a changing room where we can change our clothes? And if not, what do you suggest?
What venue allows for BYO alcohol and BYO professional catering ?

Our venue Fernbank Farm allows for BYO alocohol as long as our bar staff serve the drinks. We also allow for extrernal catering on an approval basis, if they have worked with us before, know the site & have had good reviews then we are happy for them to cater your event.
Two hours gap between the wedding ceremony and the reception.. is this acceptable?

This is fairly normal, however guests should be looked after with drinks and food and if possible things to do such as games like croquet, boules, chess, coytes, skittles, noughts and crosses ..... these games are provided at Fernbank on the lawns and guests really participate.
