We love a Wedding at Oakdene and love to help you create a wonderful day.
You’ll find us set on coastal farmland in Wallington on the Bellarine Peninsula, Oakdene features a 1920’s homestead converted Wine Bar/Restaurant, Upside-Down Cellar Door, a Bistro nestled amongst the birch trees, art-filled gardens and a rustic train shed, the property features a number of ideal locations for your Wedding Ceremony and Reception. Rural but chic, country yet elegant — our venue offers a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels relaxed, refined, and genuinely special.
Our venue, Manor Suite @Oakdene can cater for 10 guest or up to 300 guests. Combined with 5 Star James Halliday rated Oakdene wines, you and your guests will be sure to dine and dance the night away. Our kitchen offers a variety of delicious catering options to suit your needs.
Oakdene is a unique vineyard setting that offers stunning backdrops for photo opportunities, either alongside the vines, and the eclectic sculptures or in the beautiful gardens. The Oakdene Vineyards Guesthouse on the property features three quirky themed accommodation rooms (Attic Room, Marilyn Room and Water Room) providing the perfect wedding package for you and your guests.
Our team have been creating beautiful memories since the first vines were established in 2001. With years of experience, we understand each couple has a unique story, and our aim is to make you feel truly special while creating a celebration that truly celebrates you both. With a dedicated and experienced team by your side, we’re here to envision, plan and bring to life a celebration that will be a cherished, unforgettable experience for you and your guests.

FAQ
We can with a canape style wedding using a marquee outside in the Fairytale Garden, as well as the Manor Suite Wine Bar.
Yes we are able to have dogs on site for your ceremony and photos if they are looked after by someone.
Yes we do. We have our Train Shed at the back of the property and also a marquee in our Fairytale Garden.
Our venue puts couples at the centre of their special day. We don't restrict you with set menu options. We work collaborativerly with you to include styles of food and cusines you enjoy into your Wedding menu.
Yes we do. We pride ourselves in being a one stop shop for all your wedding needs. We host ceremonies, have ample photography spots, cater and host the reception and even have three guest rooms on site if you wish to stay the night. We have lots of options for keeping your guests occupied and sustained post ceremony and pre reception.
Yes we can. We charge wedding venue hire if you wish to exclusively use our space. You will need to provide your own catering and will have access to a commercial kitchen. You may use our bar staff if you wish.

Any suggestions? Wanting at least 2 night minimum for accomdation that will cater for minimum of 10-20 guests. As most family will be from interstate.

Thank you for your email. Oakdene does have 3 rooms however each room can only accommdate 2 guests.
We are also not situated in the Yarra Valley, we are situated on the Bellarine Peninsula near Ocena Grove.
