Barunah Plains Station

Barunah Plains is a stunning and unique location located 30min from Geelong and 10 minutes to Inverleigh. Barunah is the oldest property in the area, the homestead was built in 1866. The homestead and its grounds are the perfect spot for your wedding service followed by drinks on the perfectly manicured croquet lawns.

With many locations on the property to hold your reception you can decide what suits you best. The marquee on the lawn looking back at the rock wall, creek and  homestead or in the beautiful old shearing shed. The only limit for your wedding is your imagination.  If you are after a formal wedding or a festival feel, we have the perfect location on the property for you. 

This unique property and infrastructure is a one off. It’s large formal gardens, stables, ram shed, coach house, woolshed, bluestone cottages, and shearers quarters make this location a special and unique sopt to hold your wedding.

The Homestead

9 Bedroom - formal dining room, formal sitting room, billiards room, swimming pool, Tennis court and 4 bathrooms. The homestead has space for everyone. Sleeping 20 people (approx) the space is fantastic for you to get ready for your wedding or relax the days following. 

The Shearer’s Quarters

15 Bedrooms, sleeping 43 guests.  The shearers quarters are perfect for sleeping extra guests.  With a large commercial kitchen, dining room, and large living space,   it’s the perfect spot for a recovery the next day.

The Cottage
2  bedrooms - one queen bed and one king bed. Its the perfect spot for the bride to get ready for her wedding. Many couples decide to stay in the cottage after their wedding as its away from the rest of the accommodation and a bit more luxurious.

Glamping 

Sleeping as many people as you need. We have teamed up with the wonderful people at twilight glamping to offer you and your guests a amazing glamping experience. The best part is they do everything for you , including taking payments for anyone who books. 

Located 30min from Geelong and 10 minutes to Inverleigh its easy to run busses to the hotels in Geelong or to the coast.
