Nestled in the picturesque Adelaide Hills, the venue has been owned and operated by the Silvestri family for 29 years. Set on one acre in the beautiful valley township of Clarendon, Silvestri’s of Clarendon is the perfect blend of contemporary design and heritage features.

Created around a 150-year-old sandstone villa, Silvestri of Clarendon includes two reception spaces: The Ballroom and The Restaurant Dining Room. You’ll also find a separate cocktail bar, wine cellar, and large sandstone terrace within the venue. Explore the European-style topiary garden, considered by top photographers to be Adelaide’s most photogenic ceremony location, with its backdrop of Manchurian Pear Trees.

  • The lush and romantic Il Giardino Silvestri. Created with the majestic gardens of Tuscany & Provence in mind, the Silvestri garden is the perfect setting for your ceremony and wedding photography. Features include an aisle of French Lace roses, a sandstone Grecian ‘Temple’, and a stunning backdrop of thirty mature Manchurian Pear Trees which blossom in August and September, then bear ruby coloured leaves in April and May. 
  • The Ballroom. Evoking a sense of modern glamour and timeless sophistication, The Ballroom is surrounded by glass doors, which open onto the sandstone terrace. From the terrace, your guests will overlook an eight-metre waterfall and exquisite gardens. Up to 130 of your guests can be seated on the Italian designed white leather upholstered chairs. The Ballroom comes equipped with a feature dance floor, air-conditioning and underfloor heating.
  • The Restaurant Dining Room for more intimate celebrations. Featuring neutral decor, gold-framed mirrors, Louis XVI chairs and other antique furnishings, the Restaurant Dining Room can accommodate up to 40 seated guests. 
  • Delicious and refined food. The culinary team at Silvestri's of Clarendon specialise in elegant and romantic fine dining experiences. Choose from two-course, three-course and canape options with accompanying wines from McLaren Vale.

Can’t imagin anything better than what Silvestris offered. Gorgeous venue and fantastic food, the whole atmosphere was very classy and romantic just like how we dreamed of our wedding day. John (the owner and the manager) also basically saved our day after our wedding planner ditched us halfway through the day. Can’t thank them enough for creating a magical day for us.

Highly recommend this awesome venue!! Very quick responses for every question. All the staff were so lovely and helpful throughout the whole process. The venue it's self is just more than we could have ever dreamt for. It was the first venue we visited, and did not have one regret. The garden was just devine, out professional photos look amazing with the beautiful background behind us. The 'Ballroom' was phenomenal!! Sitting at the bridal table I was just in admiration of how perfect everything was!!

It was really good, it was a very idealic venue whilst still being very practical. It was really suitable for the size of guests we had. It had a really nice and classic feel, and it was a perfect balance between classic and modern which was what we were looking for. The cost for the venue hire itself was also very comfortable. They were particularly good for event food, and the staff were very friendly. John the owner was particularly accommodating every time we asked him about anything.
