Goolabri is the perfect setting for a magical indoor or outdoor wedding experience. The Wren is is our most popular option for smaller weddings. The brick and timber bulding with terrace views and a unique rustic charm. The Wedgetail pavilion is an enchanting white marquee, sweeping lawns, and a deck overlooking the gorgeous natural bushland, Goolabri knows how to create the perfect amount of ambience and charm. As a dry hire venue, you’ll have exclusive, private access to the grounds and call doll the space up however you please. Choose your own caterer, decorator, entertainment, and more! With a stunning, natural backdrop, you have the freedom to create the wedding of your dreams. With over 30 years of experience up their sleeves, you can expect nothing less than warm, personalised service and reliability.
“Goolabri was the all-in-one venue for our ceremony, reception, and photography. It had a beautiful relaxed country vibe and had the benefit of being so close to Canberra. The ceremony/chapel space was perfect for our exchanging of vows. It created an intimate vibe; we particularly loved the exposed beams and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the bush. The lawns were lovely for pre-dinner drinks and canapes, and the rustic pub/restaurant was great to have the reception in. There was plenty of space for a live band and dancefloor. The team at Goolabri went above and beyond to help us set up the space with our own decorations and flowers. We look back on our wedding with such happy memories, mainly due to how wonderful everything at Goolabri was, and the professionalism of the team.” — Amber G.

Goolabri is located just 10-15 minutes from the centre of Canberra, which makes getting here very easy!
An alternative option we offer is a shuttle bus that can do 2-3 pick ups and drop offs to various locations of your choice!
No we do not provide catering but you can choose one of the many great caterers from the Canberra and surrounding regions to cater your event.
Yes you can. We have a finishing kitchen availabel for hire as well as a large "Back of house" area to utilise
