The award winning Glengariff venue is one of the oldest privately-owned family properties in Queensland and holds both your ceremony and reception. As one of Queensland's premier historic family estates dating back to 1876, we are proud of hosting over 150 weddings per year from all over the world!
This beautiful property of 230 Acres is only 45 mins from Brisbane CBD, with the convenience of local accommodation and transport options. The venue is fully exclusive for you and your guests on your special day.
The property allows you to escape to a world of extravagance with its beautiful homestead and stunning grounds to explore. There are endless photo opportunities with over 30 different locations including the garden rooms, the vineyards, the lake, jetty, waterfall, rustic barn and classical stone arbours to name just a few. We believe that every wedding is a unique and personal experience, our dedicated team of wedding coordinators will work with you to design a package to suit your needs.

Channing & Dan are the 6th generation to live, own and work on our family property. We are so happy that we get to share our beautiful venue that was once our family home with all our couples. We strive to create a perfect and stress free day and ensure our bride, groom and their guests are well looked after!

We understand that your wedding is a very special day and you would like to spend as long as possible with you guests.
We allow couples to hire out the venue until 12 ( midnight).
Yes, you have full exclusivity of our venue where we hold both your ceremony and reception.
Yes, we have an upstairs vintage room available that is fully air-conditioned and has beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. We also have a lift available for those unable to use the stairs.
Yes, we have ramp access to the ceremony area and a lift available for the upstairs vintage room.
Yes, we have lots of local accommodation and can organise busses and taxi's for guests.

Get Expert AdviceDo you have a Wedding Venue with an all inclusive package?
Hello! We are looking to get married in October 2020. At this time Australia is on the top of the list for the destination wedding. However, we live in LA and with our busy lives will not be able to make it to AU to plan the event, thus are looking for an all inclusive venue with a wedding planner. We estimate 80 -100 guests. Our most important items are 1.) beach or waterfront view 2.) A range of prices for accommodations, 3.) Transportation to/from the venue for guests and 4.) Dance! Dance!
Is the food organised? And is it halal?
Who organises the food at a wedding venue and can it be organised to be halal?

All meals are catered for by our inhouse kitchen team. All meat is certified halal.
Sunday Wedding?
We are looking at having our wedding on a Sunday. We would like it to fall on a long weekend but have found that the price is the same as a saturday. If it was to be a working monday in your experience have people left early or just not came altogether.

Glengariff historic Estate holds weddings any day of the week, Monday through to Sunday and average 150 weddings a year usually every Friday, Saturday and Sunday or more these days Thursday through to Monday. In our experience, it does not matter what day of the week the wedding is held on as all guests and bridal couple all seem to celebrate and party just as they would on a weekend. We have some couples say they are choosing a Sunday to have a long weekend wit the family first then wedding day on the Sunday.
