Wedding stylist, planner or floral designer?

Hi, has anyone used a wedding stylist? I am getting quite confused about the difference between a stylist, a co-ordinator and a floral designer who also does styling. I’m getting married in Sydney and ideally need some simple flowers for table and someone to make the place ‘pretty’ (and ideally do pack up after the reception) .... does anyone have any suggestions for someone who services the north shore and answers to the above questions? Thanks!

Hi there!

Yes it is confusing, many terms and skillsets for various experts in the wedding industry! My services will be ideal for your reception style, as I am a stylist based in Sydney with floral designing experience able to arrange flowers to theme and provide vases, candles and any other props (wishing well, table numbers, decorating the cake with flowers). This includes set up and pack down after your reception is finished. Happy to provide a complimentary site visit to your reception space to give you a customised quote :)

Looking to hear from you!

Hi there,

I totally understand your confusion, let me explain. Usually, a wedding is a teamwork project for wedding professionals, which means one person cannot do it all, literally. We, the wedding professionals who have different expertise to form a team to make each wedding happened.  We are individuals but come to a wedding, we usually work together as a team.

A wedding planner is a person who plans your wedding, tracks your budget and makes your wedding schedule.

A Co-ordinator is a person to organize and coordinate different parties/vendors, make sure everything goes smoothly before/on your wedding day.

A wedding stylist is a person who has the big picture of your wedding's "look and feel" and breaks it down into the details, such as theme concept, color schemes and props using.

A floral designer, obviously more focus on wedding floral design.

If you plan your own wedding and don't have a co-ordinator (some couples like to do it their own, which is totally fine),  you might need to find someone who has a strong relationship with others. WE CAN DO THAT!

You can email us info@fablestudio.com.au your wedding general info, I will follow up the details and give a quote.

Sorry about the long answer, hopefully, that makes you have a clue about your next step in your wedding planning process.

Goodluck!

xx
