Start as soon as possible. Whether thats lessons with a professional instructor, or copying videos of YouTube, the more time you have to practice together, the more natural it will feel and look on the day.
As with anything wedding-related, seek professional help. It will only make things smoother on the day.
Hi, the best advice on learning to dance for your wedding is definitely to get lessons. Experienced professionals like myself can give you the best information you need to conquer the dancefloor. I offer dance packages that can suit all budgets and all experience levels. However, if you do not want lessons the best advice I can give is practice, practice, practice. Don't try to wing it if you have never danced before or are particualrly nervous about dancing as it usually ends in disaster. Practice together and at least have a rough plan of what moves you are both comfortable with.

The earlier, the better. Time is your best friend when it coes to learning a dance, because a lot of it comes down to memorising your steps. Our next biggest piece of advice is to learn your song off by heart, to the point where you should be able to sing or hum even the instruments in it.
Memorising your music will help you connect your movements to it making it all look much more in sync, and ultimately help you with remembering your dance.
The last thing you want on your big day is to forget your steps!
