An experienced photographer should easily be able to incorporate this into your wedding photography package. The only additional requirements to an normal shoot are some pre-arranged privacy from the bridal party and perhaps some extra lighting (eg if you're planning to have most of these photos inside). Scheduling in a bit of extra time in the photography shoot would ensure you receive a good range of quality shots too. Feel free to contact us at The Light Industry - we would be most happy to help.
All the best for your big day!

Boudoir is its own little art form, so I'd look for someone who shoots it regularly rather than a wedding photographer who does it occasionally. Have a proper look through full boudoir galleries, not just a couple of hero shots, and pay attention to how they handle posing, light and editing across different body types. A good boudoir shooter knows how to direct you so you never feel awkward, and that comfort on the day is honestly more important than any bit of gear.
When you're comparing Melbourne studios, ask the practical questions: do they have a private studio or do they work on location, is hair and makeup included or recommended, and who actually edits the images. That last one matters more than people realise with boudoir. These are intimate, personal photos, so you want to know they're being retouched in-house by the photographer or their own team, never sent offshore to an anonymous editor. We're up in Queensland so I can't point you to a specific Melbourne name, but that's the standard I'd hold any of them to.
One tip from the documenting side of things: if you're planning these as a gift for your partner before the wedding, build in a decent lead time. Allow a few weeks for the shoot and editing, then more time again if you want it printed into an album or a fine art box. Booking it six to eight weeks out from the wedding takes all the stress out of it and gives you room to choose your favourite images properly.
