Normally Yes, however a cancellation fee may be charged depending on the circumstances and the amount of time between the date of cancellation and the wedding. It will depend on the contract terms of the photographer you have booked with.

It is possible but it all depends on the contract arrangements you have with the photographer. Deposits/booking fees that you provide are used to secure the wedding date as other couples may be trying to plan their wedding on the same date. So you may lose your deposit if it is non-refundable.
It's usually possible to cancel the photographer, although as has been mentioned it will depend on the contract you have in place with them.
It's always a good idea to ask what their cancellation/refund policy is - some have a strict no-cancellation policy, others have staged payments and some won't offer any refund at all depending on how far out the wedding is.
Wedding do need to be cancelled or postponed from time to time - we've had it happen for various reasons from the very sad to the very happy (like a new little one deciding to book their arrival date for the same day as the wedding! :)
If the question really is "can I get my deposit back if I cancel", it really will depend on your agreement with the photographer and their policy.
It will depend on your contract and what you arranged with your photographer. Usually a photographer will take a booking payment to secure your date and this would not be refundable as you paid this to keep them from booking another couple.

It will typically depend on the contract between yourself and the photographer. If you aren't under a contract then it will be situational.
The only thing is that if you have paid a deposit, that deposit may be non refundable depending on the circumstances.
Have a chat with your photographer, i'm sure you have a completely valid reason for postponing/canceling a wedding, surely they will understand and do what they can to work with your situation.

Yes you can but you will most likey end up loosing your initial booking deposit.
In saying that if you cancel within a couple of months or even weeks and you have made a payment, some photographers will keep a % of that too due to it being so close to the wedding. This is due to your date being locked away for you and then potentially having turned away clients that would have booked therefore loosing income.
