Look for a photograspher who cares about you and your wedding day plans and make sure that person will be photographing you on your special day. Look for a passionate friendly person who will record your special day without turning your day into a photoshoot, remember its your wedding celebration.

Things to think about are

What do you actually want out of the photographer? Just the coverage and photos on a USB ? so you can create your own albums and do your own printing or do you want a album designed for you?

What is your budget?

Make sure all the things you tell your husband or wife to be you want your photographer to do you tell your photographer too so they know.

As long as you have the coverage, with most photographers you can order prints and albums later if you decide.

Really importantly you need to get along with your photographer like a friend because they will be there all day and spend a fair bit of time with you on the most wonderful day of your life you don't want to wish you had a different photographer.

Make sure you meet the photographers you like online in person before booking anything.

The time you spend looking for the right photographer and the money you spend certainly pays off.

You want someone experienced confident easy going and passionate

Good luck in your search and happy wedding planning!

Hi there,

Congratulations on your engagement! You have the most special day of your lives together to look forward to very soon!

Great question! There are a few important things to look for and keep in mind when booking in a photographer.

Firstly, and it may sound obvious, but your photos are the most important part of your day! Your wedding photos will be all you have to remember your wonderful day by. Make sure your photography package includes a large number of photos (we usually include about 1000+ photos in our packages) as your first priority. Albums, prints, etc are nice to haves, but not essentials and you can always get these printed afterwards.

Another thing to keep in mind is your connection with your photographer. You spend a lot of time with your photographer on your wedding day! They are usually there when you're getting ready at home, right through to the very end of the day. You want to book someone that you feel comfortable and natural with, as that also shows and comes across in your photos.

Lastly, take a look at their Easy Weddings profile/website/social media channels to get a feel for their work. The photos and the style that you see there will be the same as what they produce for your wedding.

If you're still on the lookout for a wedding photographer, we'd love to hear about your upcoming wedding. Take a look at our website to see some of our work, and drop us a line :) We'd love to hear from you!

Warm regards,

Jess

I'd place an accredited professional photographer high on the list of requirements to ensure they are regulated and adhere to professional ethical business practices. Choose the professional photographer(s) that you feel you gel with when you meet them. Whoever you choose will be with you all day and evening to capture some of the most precious moments of your life, so it is important you feel perfectly comfortable with them. It may not be obvious but check the insurances etc that they hold. There certainly are huge advantages to a company that provides more than one photographer for multiple aspects captured, especially a male/female team. As already said, it is important that the photography package has no hidden costs and that it is flexible to accommodate any special requests you may have. Another consideration is the archiving of images by the photographer in the future in case you need reprints, replacement images etc. We at Be One Photography can offer all of the above and more, we're more than happy to offer any advice etc if you need further info. www.be-one-photography.com.au

In terms of price Look for a photographer that dont charge you variation rates such as changes in the album and if they will stay all day or if its limilted to hours.

Also some photographers will charge more than others for the same work if not better sometimes!

Besides your partner, your photographer will be your best friend on your wedding day. Your photographer is there for you to capture all the important moments and details from putting on the bridal attire, saying "I do", having special romantic moments, fun with the bridal party, to cutting the cake and toasting a fabulous day! So choose someone because you like that person, you know you will be pleased with their work, caring approach and professional standard and you have had a quote that covers what you want at a fair price.

Please don't think how many hours to shoot on the day. For professional photographers, we have to spend many hours on editing after your wedding days, One set of wedding photos minimum take over 40 hours for editing. However, we can provide the premium photography at affordable price. Please visit us on eternallovephotography.com.au
