Dean Dampney from 'CloudFace' is considered one of the words best Wedding Photojournalists. His work has been published and won awards with; The Wedding Photojournalist Association, The International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers, and The Australian Institute of Professional Photographers, to name a few.

As a Documentary Photo Artist Dampney's Personal Work has been selected and Highly Commended in Australias' most prestigous Photography Prizes including; The Australian National Portrait Prize, The Moran Prize, Reportage, The Head On Alternative Portrait Prize, The Fremantle Portraiture Prize, and The Olive Cotton Award.

The CloudFace style is artistically geared through the genres of both Documentary and Creative Portraiture. An emphasis is given to  capturing the beauty, spirit and celebration of life whilst embracing story telling through photography.

Known for being particularly calm and easy going Dampney believes that the process of capturing beautiful photography should be as joyful for his clients as the great joy he experiences as a Photographer himself.

We wanted a photographer that could capture those 'candid moments' and that's what Dean does. He captured so many beautiful moments of all our family and friends that we will treasure forever. As a couple we were also quite nervous about the 'wedding portrait section' (that time when you're taken away to get the offical wedding shots done!) as we aren't naturals in front of the camera. Dean was able to make this a relaxed and fun experience and we got some incredible shots!

Very friendly, professional and award winning. Photojournalist style which we love and suited my camera-shy husband. We couldn't be happier with our pictures. Based on the southcoast, a small travel fee was added (we were in the city), though totally worth every penny and more. Thanks so much Dean.
