Yes! I offer photography, videography, or a combo of both.
Absolutely – I offer a pre-wedding phone or zoom or coffee catch-up to get to know each other.I actually offer UNLIMITED planning meetings.
I've always taken photos, then got serious about 8 years ago when my youngest son played representative basketball (his team were excited to have their own photographer!). Then it moved organically to shooting friends kids formals, friends family photos, and so on. I've shot approximately 15 weddings throughout 2022-2025, and added videography in 2025, which is completely different to capturing wedding photos, but still just as exciting and beautiful.
If I'm photographing, I use a Canon R5 camera with a 24-105mm lens for wide shots and a flash, and a Canon R6 with a 70-200mm lens for closeups. Both cameras are either on a dual shoulder harness or a dual camera belt, meaning if something goes wrong with one camera at an important moment (like the kiss!), I can simply swap cameras and keep shooting. I carry additional SD cards and batteries on me, and have an additional Canon R6 body with me in case it's needed. Depending on your bridal photo location, I may also bring lighting or reflectors.
Yes – I offer a range of albums and custom print packages. You can build these into your package or decide later once you've had a chance to relive the day.
In peak times, wedding photo galleries are delivered within 4 weeks of your wedding, with a few sneak peaks delivered within 24 hours. Wedding videos are delivered within 6 weeks, with a 30-60 second highlight reel delivered within 72 hours.
I shoot weddings across Queensland, including Cairns, Port Douglas, Townsville, the Tablelands and beyond.
Most of the day I'm in the background capturing candid moments. There will be be some times when I step in and move you into a specific pose, but I'll be there to walk you through that! I find the most natural shots are captured when you are moving and not stiff and still, so I'll give you things to do (walk, hug, laugh, whisper sweet somethings). The time for bridal photos is that special time when its just the two of you sharing a moment in what is otherwise a busy day, so I get you to enjoy that, and I shoot, with guidance here and there when needed.
I also rely on your personalities and style of wedding to lead the style - a fun country wedding will shoot differently to a quiet elegant affair.
