In the 1970s, my Dad was a Newcastle wedding photographer. He was shooting a high profile wedding; the mayor’s daughter and his flash stopped working correctly at the start of the reception. He couldn’t check or know until after he developed the film. The result was all of the reception photos were under-exposed. It crushed him, and I grew up with that failure. I was afraid the same thing would happen to me. But no! I can be a successful wedding photographer, and I am proving it to myself.

Yes, I have both equipment and 20 mil liability including indemnity insurance. I guarantee that all your files will be stored in a fire-rated safe and saved on multiple hard drives for at least 7 years, potentially forever. I also use cameras that have dual memory card slots for immediate redundancy.
I charge a 25% Deposit + 75% due 14 days before Main Shoot Date. Payable via Osko, Bank Transfer, PayPal, Stripe or cash. Please note 2.5% surcharging on card payments.
Yes absolutely. I may charge a modest accommodation fee depending on the situation.
It is subject to a lot of variables and I can help with getting an acurate time frame. Major factors that contribute to time location and bridal party size. Where posssible, I will scout portait locations between or around your ceremony and reception venue to give you the best piece of mind. Other contributing factors are family group photos, creating a list and assigning a family usher is a great way to be time effiecient.
Generally speaking, one hour is enough to get fantastic portaits and the best time of day is one hour before sunset. Do not stress if your wedding ceremony is in the middle of the day, I will find shaded or indoor locations to take beautiful portaits.
I offer a Hybrid wedding photography package, where I shoot both photos and videos throughout the day and deliver both photos and a film including audio from speeches. Watch the above video for an example of hybrid coverage. I also offer packages with an assistant videographer for complete coverage.

I am easygoing and energetic; I'll try to fit in and hang out. I love meeting new people, and I am not afraid to start a conversation. I am spontaneous and creative, so when things aren't going to plan, I can find a solution.
My style of photography is about connecting with you personally. I will get to know you and find a way to bring out your natural smile. You will feel totally comfortable, and you will enjoy the sincere moments. I take advantage of natural landscapes and always shoot from multiple locations. I am mainly discrete but assertive when required for formal photos.
Autumn! It is not too hot or cold. There is a balance of RGB (red, green, blue) in the landscape, making for the best photos. Also, the light is not as harsh as in the middle of summer, making for more flattering portrait photos. Spring is almost equally as good thanks to the florals!
Winter is also a great time, yes it is cold, and the trees are brown and gloomy. But the light is soft and makes very flattering portraits. Sunset is also around 5:30 pm, so the "Golden Hour" for portraits will fit in the best before a reception. Plus the venue is cheaper!!!
Weddings: 50+
I aim to deliver at least 90-110 high-resolution edited photos per hour of coverage; however, it may be more depending on your event's happenings. Some photographers say unlimited photos, is it, though?..
Go for it; they are all yours. You can print as many as you like without consulting me first. I strongly recommend using a high-quality print shop like Queensberry, which is the service I provide you with your online gallery. Budget photo printing at K-Mart and Big W will deteriorate, the colour balance is usually incorrect, and the overall image quality is poor; you pay for what you get.
I am always looking out for ideal locations to create a nice composition. If I haven't been there before, I'll scout the location beforehand if I am reasonably able to do so. Many factors can affect a "good spot", like weather, available light, or random construction work. We must always be prepared to improvise if need be.
Generally no, however, if you book a second photographer or videographer with your package then yes they will assist me.
