I'm Judy the owner and main photographer from Iris Faith Photography & Film, we are a small handpicked team of photographers & videographers with a romantic, editorial and heartfelt approach to capturing weddings and intimate elopements. Our aim is to provide each of our couples with a "bespoke experience" that your can look back on your special day with memories of affection and fondness. We service the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Scenic Rim, Sunshine Coast and beyond!

FAQ

How many hours of photography should I book for my wedding?

Basically it depends on what you want photographed on the day. If you want "getting ready" photos of the bride & groom, ceremony, family, bride & groom and bridal party portraits, and then reception, you would be looking at 8 - 10+ hours coverage.

If you only want the ceremony, family, bridal party & couple portraits you may only need 3 hours coverage. It all just depends on what you and your partner want captured on the day and your budget.

Do you scout the venue before the day?

Normally I have a phone conversation with the venue before the day to ask any questions regarding restrictions, lighting and space issues.

I also ask if they can send me a map of the venue if applicable.

If I have never been there before I may physically go to the venue and scout the location for photo opportunities and lighting etc.

Do you offer engagement photo shoots?

Yes, I do! My engagement photo package starts at 30 mins at a location of choice for $350.

Do you shoot on digital or film?

I shoot with digital full frame & mirrorless full frame cameras only

Can I purchase purchase albums?

Yes, absolutely! You can purchase prints/ albums through your gallery. You will be able to choose which photos you want included in your album, and then it will be printed and shipped to your door! I only use high quality printing companies that specialise in professional photography printing.

We had Judy from Iris Faith Photography for our wedding and all I can say is Wow! She is brisbane based and our wedding was on the Sunshine Coast. The photos have turned out better than I could ever imagined. We are not big photo people but she truely captured the moment in such a spectacular way. She also helped us with certain positions and ideas and definitely knows how to use the scenery and lighting around her to capture the moment. She was super relaxed which helped us to enjoy our day without feeling stressed about photos and poses. She is very organised, having multiple chats and catch ups before the wedding to ensure we were all on the same page. We also had a videographer who worked in tune with her and you barely even realised they were around. We received our sneak peek photos within 3 days of the wedding and they are amazing. I would highly recommend her for anyone who with an upcoming wedding.

How much do you charge for 9 hrs?

What can we expect to pay on average for 9 hours of photography at our wedding?

Hi, You can expect to pay anywhere between 2500+ depending on the experience & quality of the photographer. My 8 hour photography package is $2,800 and an extra hour of photography is charged at $250 per hour.
