It's generally recommended to book your wedding photographer as soon as you've secured your venue, which is often around 12-18 months before the big day. However, we can accommodate shorter timeframes if we have availability.
We know you're eager to see your images, so we aim to have a sneak peek available for you within two weeks. The full gallery will typically be ready within 8-12 weeks after the wedding, depending on the season.
We certainly do. We're based in South Australia but are happy to travel to capture your special day, no matter where it's held. Please note that travel and accommodation expenses will be added to the package price for destination weddings.
Excellent question! The duration for photo sessions during your wedding is influenced by several aspects, including whether your ceremony and reception are at the same location, the number of locations you want to shoot at, and the time gap between your ceremony and reception.
To simplify:
If your reception and ceremony are at the same venue, we typically suggest allocating 1 to 1.5 hours for photos. For instance, if your reception begins at 5pm, we would aim to conclude the ceremony by 3:30pm, giving us ample time for group shots and bridal party shots.
On the other hand, if your reception and ceremony are at different venues, we generally recommend a break of around 3 hours between the two. This time slot lets us account for travel between the ceremony, photoshoot locations, and the reception, while also providing sufficient time for a diverse range of shots. If you desire photoshoots at multiple locations with significant travel distances, this will need to be factored into the schedule to ensure timely arrival at the reception.
For instance, if your ceremony is in Adelaide, you wish to have a location shoot at the beautiful vineyards in Barossa, and then hold your reception in Victor Harbor, we'll need to consider at least an hour of travel time and then use the remaining time for photography.
Once your ceremony and reception timings are decided, considering the photoshoot time in between, you can then select a photography package that encapsulates all of this, plus pre-ceremony preparations and reception shots.
