Emily from Once Upon a Time Design & Press Studio has said it perfectly!
Copying from someone else is a huge problem in our industry. Creating something from scratch (and making it unique to you) is definitely the way to go. This is what I love doing! If you send inspirational images my way, I'll know what look you want to create & then design it with you until you love it!
If that is the only design you want and won't feel happy with any changes, then I highly recommend contacting the original designer to see if they can provide discounts on shipping, or make a digital file for you to print locally. I can assist with printing on high quality stocks.
I hope that helps. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Cheers,
Lava @LavaStationery :)
My answer is pretty much the same as everyone else's. If you find something you love then we can definitely re-create it for you. And also make any changes you might like. We don't like to copy straight off someone elses design but re-create it with your owns touches.
Hope this helps. Good Luck.

As per the other comments above, we also work closely with our clients to ensure a custom design. Drawing inspiration from your chosen design and modifying it to suit your style and needs to fit in with your budget and of course, ensuring no other designers have their intellectual property stolen.

Hey there,
So there are certainly some designers out there who will recreate other designers work, but it's not really ok, and it does breach copyright laws. But there are a couple of other options though.
1. Contact the US designer and see if you can order a printable file, and then just have it printed locally.
2. Pick a local designer, who's style you love. Then send an image of the invitations you like as inspiration and have them create something with a similar feel/vibe.
3. Check out if the US designer is able to ship internationally, and weigh up whether the extra shipping costs are worth getting exactly what you want or not.
I hope that helps!!

Hi, Congratulations on getting married, exciting times! We specialize in custom design work, and this is a question we get asked a lot. You can take inspiration from other designs you have seen, but you can't copy it outright. There are copyright laws to abide by and also design karma! We suggest focusing on some of the elements of the design you really love and then adding your own personal touch. Also, keep in mind, having a design custom made for you, maybe a higher price than the design you have seen and love, that has already been designed. Hope this helps you in your planning, feel free to get in touch, we're always happy to help. Cheers - lala @lala design perth

Hi lovely
As most of the answers provided have suggested, We have to factor in copyright laws. However, most of my clients bring inspiration for their invitations and I create something with a similar concept but change it up to respect the original designer. Hope this helps you
