It really depends on what exactly your after. Most graphic designers charge an hourly rate. An already existing design may cost less. I have seen sites that charge 20 AUD for the template and then ofcourse all other costs of printing and assembly will be on you. Everyone that makes invites are custom wedding designs, it depends on physical or digital. Best of luck on your search.
Hi there!
Is this something you want to print yourself, or would you like the final product to be printed and assembled for you?
As the others have said, it will vary between company to company. It is best to enquire with a designer whose style you like, and ask them for a more detailed quote.
If you just want some text and a simple layout created, it will cost substantially less than let's say a painted piece or custom drawing.
Let me know what you're thinking of creating and I'll be happy to have a chat to you about it!

Prices will almost certainly vary between companies and their interpretation of 'custom design' -i.e customised template or a unique design.
For Graphic Design services (exclusive of printing and delivery etc), there will often be an hourly rate charge which can range from $60-$100.
If by custom, you are wanting to add your details to an existing design, your overall costs would generally be lower.
Good luck on your search :)
It does vary a lot between businesses. I've heard of some places charging $350++.... others from $150.
It can depend if you need custom illustration work or things hand drawn.... or something more simple. Hope that helps :)

As others have mentioned, it does depend on what you're after. Even within the same business prices can vary from $2.50ea for a pre-designed printed invitation, up to $15-$20ea for something that is hand made, custom designed with things like lace, ribbon, foil stamping, letterpress etc. It will also depend on quantity - for a smaller order of 20-30, the price per invitation is usually more. It's a good idea to work out what your budget is for stationery and contact some stationers to see what they can make for you within your budget. Good luck and I hope you find what you're looking for :)
