Hi, I’m Lachie, founder of Tempo Events & Hire. With 10+ years managing major events like the Aus Open and music festivals, I bring high-end planning, design-aware delivery and calm, capable support to outdoor weddings. I live in Harrietville and know the regional venues, the vendors and even the hidden spots. We offer custom layouts by our in-house designer, honest advice and local insight to make your wedding look amazing.

A simple, functional foundation for your wedding. Includes one of our beautiful sailcloth marquees, mix of high and low furniture depending on sit down dining or cocktail arrangement, and festoon lighting inside and out. An ideal starting point for couples who want the space and essentials sorted, with room to add their own style and finishing touches.
Everything from The Glow Up package, and then some. All Out delivers a fully considered space with lounge pods, a bar area, table linen and tableware, bespoke landscape lighting, site planning, a dance floor and external cocktail spaces. It’s a complete experience, delivered for couples who want their wedding stress free and designed with intention.
Everything in The Basics, plus a focus on atmosphere and guest experience. This package adds hanging décor (lanterns, disco balls or fairy lights), decorative lighting, and umbrellas, making it easy to create a space that feels inviting, festive, and uniquely yours.

A sailcloth marquee is a premium style of event tent made with light, natural-looking fabric and timber-style poles. Unlike standard marquees, they have a softer, more elegant feel and look incredible in natural settings like paddocks, vineyards or private properties.
It depends on your guest numbers, whether you're having a seated meal or cocktail-style event, and what else needs to fit inside like a bar, dance floor, or lounge area. Yes, we live and work in the north east region and know some amazing private properties and lesser-known venues that suit outdoor weddings beautifully. We’re happy to point you in the right direction.
We’re not just a gear drop-off service. We work with you from the start to plan your layout, solve logistical challenges, and bring your space to life in a way that feels intentional. With a background in high-end events and deep local knowledge, we offer support that’s both practical and design-aware.
Nope, we also hire lighting, tables, chairs, lounge furniture, glassware, sound gear, and more. If we don’t stock something specific, we’ll help source it through our network and manage the logistics for you.
We sure do. We live here in the North East, work here, and know which venues allow marquees, which private properties suit weddings, and which suppliers are reliable. If you’re planning from afar, we can be your eyes on the ground.
Yes, our Glamour Packages include both the hire and rigging of overhead decor. We’re currently offering options like a starry night sky with fairy lights, rattan lanterns, and disco ball installs. We can also accommodate custom pieces and floral installs from your florist. If you’ve got a vision, we’ll help make it work safely and beautifully inside the marquee.
