What’s included in your wedding reception packages?
Elegant Occasions’ Gold Reception package includes chair covers with sashes, table centrepieces, cloth napkins, table runners, a mirror base for centrepieces, linen tablecloths, a backdrop with lights and draping, a table skirt for the bridal table and cake table, a silk flower bridal table runner, and an entrance arch or candelabras with silk flowers.
What’s included in your wedding ceremony packages?
Elegant Occasions’ Ceremony Package 3 includes 24 chairs, a five-metre red or white carpet, signing table with two chairs, arch with silk flowers, welcome board, flower on chairs on aisle and bride and groom chairs, small silk flower arrangement and tablecloth on the signing table, and delivery, set up and pack down within 15 kilometres from the showroom.

About
I loved weddings since I watched my mum organising them in a small village in Croatia. I came to Australia when I was 11 and studied nursing and midwifery but kept doing cakes and flowers for friends as a hobby. I bought a cake decorating shop where I taught cake decorating and ran that for 4 years. Then when I got divorced I went back to nursing for a while but the shiftwork did not agree with 2 small children so I pursued my hobby and started the business Elegant Occasions.

What kinds of decorations do you stock?
What should I be looking for? I have my venue- I just have no idea what kinds of decorations would look good in the space (VIC)

We stock chaircovers;sashes; vases;candelabras; balloons.charger plates; cake stands;candles;tablecloths; ceiling draping ; invitations; guets easels and boards;backdrops' flowers; and arches. We would eb honored to assist ith your wedding. Wthout knowing the venue or your taste it would be hard to make reccomendations. If you would like to make an appointment to talk to us we can give you suggestions and prices.
'Too much colour' or just different?
"Your colour scheme should have no more than four colours." Its apparently a rule. My wedding is fused with Indian culture, so it has well over four colours, but I keep getting told this 'rule' and its making me nervous. We have saris as table cloths, gold candle holders, a range of other items in other shades. Is it possible to pull off a full range of colour? Or is it just too much?

When choosing suppliers you should feel that you can trust them to carry out the job as promised. Ask how long they have been in business and have a look at their portfolio; website , instagram and facebook page.Make sure it is photos of their work and not a collection of ideas only.
.We take photos of the room when it is set up and send it to the bride's phone . Some brides don't want to see as they want to be surprised but that's an option.
We also set up a table either in our showroom or at the venue with the elements we are going to use on the day and the brides' take a photo of that.
Remember though that this is what we do for a living and our reputation depends on your wedding as well so I would like to think that everyone will do their best to make sure you are happy on the day.
