Horse and Carriages only travel short distances so you usually require a car to pick you up and drive to meet the Horse and Carriage to take you to the ceremony and then a short distance to your fashion shot location and then the car usually takes you on to the reception. We work often with Horse and Carriages as our cars compliment them. So it really all depends on locations and the distance required for travel if it is all very close a Horse and Carriage could do your entire wedding. Cheers Sally.

Horse and carriage will only take you a short distance, So depending on where and for how long you will find you will also need one or more cars or a stretched limo. Certainly for the late night transfer you would need a car. Caddyman Cadillac Car Hire

Unless you live further than 5km away from your venue you do not need to book a car as well, We can also offer carriages that seat up to 14 for your whole bridal party to arrive together or we can supply 2 carriages with matching sets of horses

It is up to you. For your photos, if you are travelling long distances between photo areas, the horse and cart may not make it! perhaps just use the horse and cart to arrive at the cermeony, then book limousines to travel to your photos and then to reception.

I think it would be best to book a car as well so the poor old horse can return to his stable and oats in the evening. All the best David

Most certainly have a car on hand the weather may change at any time and it is not safe to be using a carriage at night

It get's too hot for horses here in Far North Queensland so brides usually arrange for a pick up from around the corner of the ceremony venue and then use a car for the balance of the trips.  We (as should any car service) work in with the horse/carriage owners to ensure the welfare of the horse, the smooth transition from car to carriage and then vice versa on return.  It's a beautiful way to arrive and depart the ceremony, a car simply can't replicate the clip clop of a horse's hoof!  But, when the clip clop stops, it's time for modern transport to take over!  We wish you all the best with your wedding planning.  Cheers Buzzy (Norma Jean's Wedding Car Services) Cairns.

Most certainly have a luxury car on standby. Things can go wrong quickly.
