A boho theme wedding cake would be a beautiful naked or semi naked cake (a smear of buttercream) with fresh flowers. Very natural, organic looking with assorted coloured flowers and foliage.

Hi! Thanks for your question. A semi-naked rustic type cake often suits a boho theme. We could add some dream catchers or tee pees or pastel type colours to match in with the boho theme. It's a whimsical and magical style. I would be happy to design a cake which complemented your dress, the grooms attire and your decorations. Contact me on my storefront.

Boho cakes can be quite diverse from naked or semi naked cakes with beautiful fresh flowers to the more typical fondant iced cake with colourful/earthy aztec designs along feathers/dream catchers for decoration.

A Boho theme would lend itself beautifully to a semi-naked style cake. Regardless of how many tiers you went with (and this would depend on the number of guests you want to serve) it can be decorated in a number of ways to compliment your overall styling. The use of fresh flowers, twine, hessian and foliage would suit well. Any decorative elements can be coordinated to suit your overall colour palette. You also have the option to glam it up a bit by adding some edible gold leaf highlights which give a subtle lift to the cake. This style of cake can be left as simple as you like with very few flowers added or as many as you like, depending on the final look wanted, either way there is lots of room for imagination and all options would look good starting from a semi-naked base.

Hello Lyndal

My approach to the cake would be to think about the flavor combinations; something fresh, light and fruity. And then create the outlook and presentation of the cake to suit your theme. I hope I was able to help you. Best of luck!

Love a beautiful Boho theme! A delicious semi-nude cake with fresh blooms of vintage blooms in white, ivory, burgundy and drapes of greenery.. I would add a touch of gold leaf too to add that special something to your cake. Best wishes in planning your wedding, hope this has helped. Warm Wishes, Vicki xo

There is an almost anything goes with feathers, dream catchers, beads, zigzags, flowers, bright or earthy colors. If i was to design a cake for you I would be looking at what your wearing, what you want on your table center pieces, and the decorations for the room and create a beautiful cake for you.
