Hi,
Wedding styles are constantly changing which does fluctuate in price.
Fondant Cakes are usually higher in cost than buttercream cakes.
The average cost for a 3 tier would be $650

This is such a good question! The average cost will depend on each designer and the number of guests you liked to serve, but for me, I average about $600-$900 for two tiers and $700-$1000 for three tiers. This is serving 70-120 guests, which are the average sizes for a wedding that we tend to create. Happy to chat more with more specific details :)

I start at $500 for a 2 tier semi naked with flowers to serve 80 guest , this doesn't include delivery costs .

It varies from designer to designer and also depends on the level of detail and design, florals added, buttercream or fondant icing.
I would suggest that you should expect to budget around $700-$800 for a buttercream tiered cake with simple flower arrangement, to serve 100 people.
Hello Thank you for your enquiry, there is no average cost of a wedding cake as there are so many variebles such as design, fresh flowersw verses sugar flowers. number of guests attending & then are you serving the cake for dessert or a small token serve with tea and coffee ?

I'd love to provide a quote for your custom wedding cake. The price will vary depnding upon the following variables:
- Number of serves required (number and size of tiers)
- Coffee or dessert size serves e.g. is your cake being served as the main dessert or after dessert?
- Style of cake e.g. fondant, full ganache/buttercream cover or semi naked cover.
- Decorations e.g. stencilling, piping detail, fresh flowers. Note that my quote will include a price for both a decorated and undecorated cake as some couples opt for their florist to add flowers at the venue.
An example of pricing for a popular two tier size, 6 inch top 8 inch bottom (120 coffee or 60 dessert serves) is from $330 for an undecorated semi naked cake up to $670 for a detailed fondant cake.
My wedding cake prices include a cake tasting for two people to help in your choice of flavours. Cake sample boxes are periodically available containing all 10 of my flavours.
These prices do not include the delivery cost which would be quoted separately depending upon the venue.
