At Blackbird Cakes it is our mission to produce mouth-watering cakes, using only the best ingredients, which provide lasting memories of times worth celebrating.

Blackbird Cakes is not your standard cake shop or bakery… we are a custom cake studio, open by appointment. Blackbird Cakes was created in 2012, and since opening our doors we have blossomed from a small start up to a thriving cake studio. Located in the quaint village of Woodend in the Central Victoria, we supply delicious cakes to our customers from the Macedon Ranges, Daylesford and the Spa Country, Melbourne, Bendigo, Ballarat, and beyond.

We specialise in cakes that are designed specifically for you. We work from your brief, not a catalogue, to produce a cake worth celebrating. Our cakes are made from scratch using the best ingredients and they taste as good as they look.

Thank you so much Shaz for our absolutely delicious wedding cake - it was so incredible. All our guests were saying how it was one of the best cakes they have ever had! We loved it so much, we even had some for breakfast the morning after our wedding. You were so easy to deal with - so friendly, personable, and informative - we didn't have to worry about a thing! We would highly recommend Blackbird cakes.

We had our wedding in December and had our cake made by Shaz and it was amazing! We ordered three flavours: white chocolate lemon, chocolate orange and gingerbread mud. I was dreaming about it for weeks after, and our guests raved about it. The cake not only tasted amazing but looked beautiful, and was the perfect backdrop for fresh flowers. Shaz was lovely to deal with and was very accommodating. Would definitely order again in the future!
