Should I get eyelash extensions before the wedding?

I haven't had them before so looking for advice on a trial, or how early to get them before the wedding. Thank you!

Yes, absolutely — getting eyelash extensions before your wedding can make a huge difference. They save you time and stress on the big day because you’ll wake up with beautiful, full lashes that don’t need any mascara or curling. They’re completely customised to suit your eye shape and bridal style, whether you want a soft natural look or something more glamorous. Unlike strip lashes, they won’t lift or come off — they stay put through all the happy tears, hugs, dancing, and even your honeymoon. You can cry, swim, sleep, and still look flawless. We always recommend doing a trial set a few weeks before the wedding to test for any sensitivities and make sure you’re 100% happy with the style. It’s also a good idea to match your trial lashes with your trial makeup, so you can see the full look together and make any adjustments before the big day.

Hi

I would recommend having a trial at least two months prior to your wedding day. Make sure you get the latest cashmere lashes or something similar (silk) as they look and feel the most natural.

Before your appointment, make sure that all eye make-up is removed (ie. mascara, eyeliner), as these can cause the lashes to fall off prematurely. Most good lash technitions will clean your lashes prior, however it helps if you don't come to your appointment with eye makeup on.

It is also important to note that your technition uses natural products. Harsh chemicals can cause red and irritated eyes.

After your trial, I would recommend getting your lashes on the week of the wedding (at least 3 days prior).

Hope that helps! :)

I personally prefer to work with brides without lash extensions and apply false lashes whether strip or individuals as a lot of extensions can be too thick and weigh the lid down and also restrict our work on the lid and lash line. You're also risking eyeshadow fallout with extensions. Sometimes a lash tint and lift can be enough for after the wedding.
wvery makeup artist is different so I would also suggest to speak with your makeup artist and se what they prefer you to do.
