Yes, we highly recommend a trial session before your wedding. During this appointment, we’ll have a full consultation and create a lash look tailored to your bridal style. It gives us the chance to make adjustments if needed, so your final set is exactly what you envisioned.
Most brides start planning their lashes 3–6 months before the big day. This gives you plenty of time to try different styles, make adjustments, and feel completely confident in your final look.
Most brides fall in love with their lashes after the first trial. But you’re welcome to have as many trials as you need — our goal is to make sure you’re 100% happy and comfortable before your wedding day.
Yes, we recommend getting your lashes done before your makeup trial. This way, your makeup artist can see how your eyes will look with the extensions and adjust your eye makeup accordingly. It helps create a more accurate preview of your final bridal look.
Yes, but it’s best to avoid any oil-based products around the eyes. We recommend using oil-free makeup and being gentle when applying or removing anything near the lash line. This helps your lashes stay fluffy and last longer.
We don’t recommend wearing strip lashes over your extensions. The adhesive from strip lashes can damage the extensions and affect your natural lashes. If you’re looking for a fuller look, we can customise your set during your trial to achieve the volume you want — no strips needed!
Yes — once fully cured, eyelash extensions are waterproof. At Posh Deluxe, we use a Superbonder to cure the adhesive at the end of your appointment, so you can shower, cry, or even swim on your honeymoon without worrying about your lashes falling off. Just remember to keep them clean and avoid oil-based products around the eyes, as these can weaken the bond over time.
Most of our regular clients return every 2–3 weeks with around 50–65% of their extensions still intact. To keep them looking fresh and full, it’s important to avoid letting them get too bare before your infill.
Not at all — as long as they are applied correctly. Your natural lashes will continue to grow and shed normally with the lash cycle, just like hair. At Posh Deluxe, we prioritise lash health and proper technique.

A full bridal lash appointment takes roughly 3 hours. This allows us to apply each extension with care and precision, ensuring the best possible retention and a flawless finish for your big day.
Not at all! Eyelash extensions should feel completely comfortable when applied correctly. Most of our clients find the experience relaxing — some even fall asleep during the appointment! There’s no pain during or after the treatment.
This is another reason why a trial set is important. If you have a sensitivity, it usually shows up within 24–48 hours after application. If you don’t react during this time, it's generally safe to proceed with your wedding day lashes.
If a reaction occurs, we can try special precautions to create a barrier and prevent irritation. You’ll need another trial set using these methods to ensure they work for you. Most of the time, our preventative techniques are successful, and clients don’t react.
