What are photo magnets?

Photo magnets are simply photos printed onto magnets. 

Each photo that is captured by our photographer during your event is printed in super sharp detail on a high quality magnet which can be displayed on magnetic or any metallic surfaces such as your fridge.  The  instant Photo magnets are printed throughout the event and can then be collected by all guests during the event as a souvenir to remind them of your special day.

How is your photo booth different from an ordinary photo booth?

Unlike an ordinary photo booth, in our photo booth, a professional photographer will be snapping all your photos. Additionally, your personalized magnets can be placed on any metallic surface, so your memories of your special day can always be on display, instead of having them printed on paper only to be forgotten, lost or be stowed a way.

What is the advantage of your roaming magnets?

There is no queue of posing for a picture. 

Our photographer will mingle around the guests approaching them with several fun props to make some fun and creative moments for your guests to later collect as memorable magnets. 

Which magnet package would be best suitable for my event?

We offer several packages.

To find out the best package for you, consult with us the details of your event so we can recommend a suitable package. Depending on your requirements, number of guests and length of the event we will provide you with the right package for you. 

Is there a limit to the number of magnets you print?

Designed Memories

No, there is no limit to the number of printing magnets. Every guest that appears in a photo receives a copy of that magnets. The professional photographer present at the event will be taking an unlimited amount of photos. No one will be leaving empty handed, every guest will have a memorable gift in the form of a photo magnet to take home .

What size do your magnets come in?

Our high quality standard photo magnet size is 3” x 4” , but there is option to choose other sizes such as 4x6”or 4x4 which we can supply

Where will the photo magnets be displayed at the event?

Designed Memories

The photo magnets will be displayed on a magnetic board which we will provide. You can choose black or white.  Your guests will be able to collect their magnets at any point throughout the event.

Where then would the magnetic board be located?

Our magnetic board will be located on a location onsite where everyone can engage and see the board without having missing any glimpses of your event. 

   The magnets could be collected at any moment throughout the event.

How long does it take for a new batch of magnets to be printed and displayed on the board?

Designed Memories

Every 5 - 10minutes a new batch of magnets will be printed and displayed on the board.

There's always at least 2 staff members present on site, a professional photographer and an assistance to produce and print the magnets. Whilst our photographer mingles around the event and snap photos of you and your guests, at the same time our second staff member on site is producing and printing the magnet.  Therefore allowing a greater number of magnets to be printed.

Can I choose the frame for my magnet?

Absolutely you can.

You can design your own or choose from the many customized frames we provide.   We will implement the design based on your request and construct the frame until you are happy with it. You will be able to add any logos, graphics, patterns and wordings of your choice. We can also send you some examples for you to look at for inspiration to help decide on your frame.

How long does it take you to set up prior to the event?

 It takes approximately 15-30 minutes to set up. The set up is not included from the time of the package

Will you need any arrangement at the venue for the event?

We only require a very small spot for our set up : printing stand with an accessible electrical outlet.

What are your payment arrangements?

Designed Memories

You'll need to pay 30% deposit to secure the date, with the rest of the due balance to be paid 5 days prior to your event.

We are located in east Melbourne, we do cater to events located in greater Melbourne.

When will our digital photos be available?

Designed Memories

All photos taken will be provided on a USB in high jpeg resolution at the end of the night.

What quality magnets do you supply?

We provide thick magnets with high quality photographic paper that can be preserved in an excellent condition to be looked at over and over for a lifetime
