Hi there! Celebrants charge different fees depending on things like experience, what’s included in the package, travel, and the type of ceremony you’re after. The Marriage Certificate can either be included in the fee or a seperate cost and each state has different offices for the Birth Death and Marriages Register so the fees may also vary state to sate.

Hi there.
My booking fee is $200. This constitutes part of the fee I charge for the service you nominate. For example,my fee for a bespoke marriage ceremony with love story, any rituals you'd like, etc. is $850. If you were to choose that ceremony, you would pay a $200 booking fee with the remaining $650 due one month before your ceremony date.
My fee does not include the Standard Marriage Certificate.
I'd love to send you my packages and information booklets if you're interested.
Best wishes for your wedding planning. Feel free to contact me again if you have any questions.
Your all-inclusive wedding ceremony package is $750 with absolutely no surprise fees. This comprehensive price covers my travel expenses, custom ceremony scripting, professional PA equipment, and a signing table with chairs. During your special day, you'll receive a Ceremonial Certificate to commemorate the occasion. After I submit your marriage registration to Births, Deaths and Marriages, you'll need to contact them directly to obtain your official marriage certificate.

Hi, there is a vast difference in fees between Celebrants. One fee does not fit everyone. It all depends on your location, distance the Celebrant has to travel, and often, what you are looking for in your ceremony. Finding the right celebrant is something only you can do. There are many Celebrants who have different packages for different types of ceremonies. Some ceremonies only cost in the hundreds whereas others take you into the thousands. It depends on your budget and what you want for your day!
As far as charging for the marriage certificate, personally, I charge all my couples for the certificate, but I do not charge any extra for pressing a couple of buttons to order it! If you find a Celebrant doesn't charge for the certificate, then that fee I would suggest, is already incorporated into their fees. I feel the old adage rings true "nothing it's totally free."
Hello
How are you? So many celebrants offer different structures to how they would perform a wedding so prices will vary. I personally like to do a meeting at no cost for the couple that way you and your partner get a good idea of myself and my services.
A Marriage Certificate is $55.80 plus postage $10.20. Your celebrant can order this for you when lodging paperwork or you can order it yourself. Again depending on celebrant as to whether they include this cost or it is an add on.
Kind Regards
Giuliana
Wedding packages will vary depending on what kind of ceremony you're after, the day, month and location of your wedding. The official certificate from BDM, at this point in time costs roughly $67.00 to order, which you can do yourself. Most celebrants will absorb the cost into their packages or offer to order on your behalf for a small transactional fee.
Keep in mind that should you opt to order it yourself, your celebrant cannot reaccess your account and order it on your behalf after closing off your marriage registration.
Hi
I charge a fully inclusive fee of $650 with no hidden costs.
This includes all travel, ceremony, high quality PA system and music of your choice. The marriage certificate we sign on your day is Ceremonial. Once I have lodged your marriage for registration with Births, deaths and marriages, you need to apply to them for your official registration at a cost of $55 (WA).
Hope this helps.

This is a great question, and one where you need to reach out to celebrants in your area to see what they offer as prices vary across the country.
Our packages start from AUD550.00 for our Micro Wedding upwards....
Most celebrants may offer a non refundable deposit to lock them in for your wedding date, with the balance due at a certain date prior to the wedding.
You do receive a Presentation Certificate on your Wedding Day, but check with each celebrant whether the payment and ordering of your official Marriage certificate from BDM (Birth Deaths and Marriages) is included, as I do.
So now armed with all this information.... happy hunting for the celebrant that you really connect with!

Most if not all celebrants have a booking fee that covers the time they take to commence the legal paperwork, therefore it's a non refundable booking fee. Once you have paid the booking fee your Notice of Intention to Marry will be completed and this is valid for 18 months. If your plans change the documents can be transferred to another celebrant. Once you're marriage is completed the celebrant will submit your marriage documents to the registry of births deaths and marriages in the state they are registered in. The registry office is also provided with your contact details by the celebrant. They will then contact you once you're marriage has been registered. You pay them a fee and they mail it to you. Your celebrant will ask if you want it sent registered mail, express mail or normal mail. In Queensland the fee is $54 for your registered marriage certificate and you will need this to change your name on your license and passport and at the bank. You can also get a fancy certificate included for about $15 more.
