2025 is my first full year as marriage celebrant, but I have been a marriage officiant in America for several years. I have also been MC'ing wedding and events for the past 15 years.
I became a marriage celebrant because I genuinely enjoy getting to know couples—their story, their connection, and their vision for the future. I believe the best ceremonies come from building real relationships and crafting something unique and meaningful. Being able to contribute to one of the most important moments in a couple’s life, in a way that feels personal and genuine, is what drives me every time.
Yes! I am very much open to travel for wedding ceremonies - north, south, east, west, on a boat, in the air - wherever your wedding is, I'm happy to find a way to make it work! Travel costs may be applied to the total cost but I would be happy to discuss that, once the venue location is known.
Yes and I am happy to MC'ing a wedding on the same day as performing the marriage ceremony as celebrant. Please let me know the details of the reception and MC requirements and I am happy to provide a quote.
My celebrant style is warm, relaxed, and conversational. I believe ceremonies should feel personal — not like a performance, but like a story told among family and friends. I take the time to get to know each couple, their story, and what makes them tick, then craft a ceremony that reflects who they really are. Whether it’s light-hearted and full of laughter or simple and heartfelt, I aim to strike that balance between meaning and ease, so everyone feels comfortable, connected, and genuinely part of the moment.
On the day, I’m calm, organised, and ready for anything. I guide the ceremony with a natural flow — not too serious, not too showy — just genuine connection and a touch of humour where it fits. My goal is always the same: for couples to walk away saying, “That felt so us,” and for guests to feel they’ve witnessed something truly personal and memorable.
Yes — absolutely! I love when couples include their pets in the celebration. Whether it’s your dog walking down the aisle, your cat tucked safely nearby, or even a ring-bearing alpaca (yes, it’s happened!), I’m all for it. Pets are part of the family, and it’s always special to see them play a role in your big day.
That said, I’ll work with you to make sure everything runs smoothly — from timing their entrance to ensuring they’re comfortable and cared for. If your furry friend needs a handler, water break, or a quick exit plan, we’ll sort that out together. After all, weddings are about love in all its forms — and that includes the four-legged kind.

im worried about my friends getting out of control can we have it dry for the ceremony or tell them no pre drinks

You and your partner are inviting (and paying) for the guests to attend, so you can choose to have whatever type of ceremony and receiption you prefer. Most weddings couples don't offer 'pre ceremony drinks' as an option and feel it goes without saying that any food and beverage service would be offered and start after the ceremony. It has been mentioned here that the celebrant has a legal requirement to ensure both parties are of a sober state of mind and I think extending that to the wider guests, upon arrival, is more done as a show of respect for ther wedding ceremony and the couple.
