This is the most popular question? I get it love and marriage can be expensive so you want to get good value for money that you are spending. How much a wedding cost varies from location and the packages that you are looking at. I am a big beleieve of saving money and spluring on a honeymoon, so I suggest that you would try to find a package with everything included such as a Celebrant, MC, Photograpaher and videographer which will give you the best valve for your buck. I am about provide you a ceremony that you will never forget to make your guest feel amazing.
One Tip: If thereis a celebrant that has package with everything included such as the Celebrnat ,MC, photograpaher and videographer with the Birth death and marriages fee thrown in you will save lots for that speical honeymoon. And if you can save those extra few hundred dollars to go towards the honeymon that you really, really wanted then you will be chuffed with yourself on the day
Yes and No it depends really?
Did you invite them to party with you? Are they going to MC for you on the night. Hell Then hell yes they will be there.
Are they just there to get you hitched? Then they'll probs leave after the ceremony and lodge your paperwork while you party all night.
Well this is my favorite question? why because it depends on you if you want a short and sweet ceremony can take u 5 min, but if you like an upbeat and fun and funky awesome wedding it can 30 mins and thats what every awesome human wants a upbeat, fun and funky wedding.
Thats what I am here for, to help you figure it out. I am here to provide you suggestions and together at a club, pub, cafe, your home, my home we can brainstorm.
The short answer to this question is I sure can. I believe as a celebrant that I want to make the wedding planning for your as less stressful as I can for you lovestruck humans.
This is another one of my favorite questions. The answer is simple No, you dont have to kiss. Kissing in a ceremony isn't compulsory. There are many otherways including Cuddling and even shaking of hands.
People have asked me do I need to wear a wedding dress and a suit. The answer is No you don't need to. You can wear shorts and a t shirt and thongs, swimmers even your birthday suit. but it is up to you what you like to wear. I have heard of people dressing up as there favorite television character or there favorite celeb.
The short answer is absolutely not! They do not need to wear a suit and tie. A good friend of mine who is also a celebrant wears things like underwear with chhains and even cowboys outfit and sometimes depending on his couples, he will wear budgie smugglers with no shirt or sometimes with a shirt. at the end of the day you can choose what you want them to wear or they dont have to wear anything.
So on the day of your ceremony, you'll sign the paperwork that your marriage celebrant will send to the registry of Birth, Death and Marriages in the state that your wedding took place (Which may not be in the state that you live in). Your celebrant can apply for the marriage certificate on your behalf at the same time they lodge this paperwork. The fee charged by the BDM in Australia is $60. Once you get this registered marriage certificate in your hot little hands, you can use it to change your last name if that is how you are gonna roll. On the day of your ceremony, your wedding celebrant will also give you a fancy marriage certificate which is pretty but of course you can not use it for anything official.
The answer is Yes you can. You can sing, dance, shout with excitment and even cry your vows. you could even do your little strip tease while you say your vows you cheeky couple. But hey I love it and that what makes a wedding day to remember.
Celebrants booking process will vary depend on if they have a website or even on a easy weddings. A booking fee and some sort of contract are involved.
1. You say Hitchie Us Ritchie! and Ill do some sort of Happy dance because I am your Man.
2. I will send you a service agreement which you can sign. Once this is signed and emailed back to Your Man hitch Us Ritchie, We are now Offical.
3. A 25% booking fee makes me yours
4. Then the Hitching begins with our first date.
Yes I sure do. All across Sydney and NSW. There maybe a small fee for accomdation if I have to travel interstate.
The answer is Yes and No? It really depends. I believe that special offers and gifts shows your couple that you appreciate them for choosing you as their celebrant to create a special wedding day.

There are a very few legal requirements in a ceremony that you must include. Other than these you are free to do what the hell you want. The legal requirement are:
1. The celebrant must say the Monitum- A legal statement
2. You must say a line each- Mandatory vows.
3. You must sign 3 marriage certificates (2 witnesses over 18 must sign as well).
The answer is Yes of course you do. What happens if it rains hails or its even too hot. A frim Plan B means this will be less stress and more smiles. If you're planingan out door ceremony we'll come up with a plan for an indoor option if we dont what we dont want to happen, happens. We will have this covered

Get Expert AdviceThere are so many choices for a celebrant... How can we narrow down and pick one for us?
We are having just a small wedding - 20 guests. It will be a simple ceremony followed by the reception. We don't want to spend too much, but would like a celebrant who can make the short amount of time special.
Can I submit a NOIM to the registry before my divorce is finalised?
My divorce (joint application)is currently booked in to be heard August 7th and we are planning to be married on September 22nd. Can we lodge a NOIM to make sure we meet the 1-month requirement whilst the divorce is being processed and show it finalised before the wedding day?
Hitchusritchie- Australia's fun and funky Marriage Celebrant
You have to Submit the NOIM to the celebrant not to the registery. However the celebrant will need to check the divorice certificate before he or she can proceed with the paper work
Elopement In A Hotel Room
I'm thinking of eloping in a nice hotel suite/room. Do we have to advise the hotel of an elopement if it's just going to be in the hotel room with 2 witnesses?
Hitchusritchie- Australia's fun and funky Marriage Celebrant
I would recommened to do so, to advise them so they know and made aware what is going on. and also mention who the celebrant is as well so they are also made aware who the celebrant will be.

I am a celebrant and I would reccommend you choose the celebrant that will best suit you and your needs. I have had couples say to me to do a simple and short wedding. So with my weddings I will do housekeeping introduction and then a short story about how you meet then I do the monitum then we do the legal vows and then conclusion. it is quite hard to choose a celebrant because they are all different and unique in their own way. You will also need to consider and take into consideration the budget and how much you want to spend and then look at packages. so my packages have a photgrapher thats included with all my packages.
