Here is a practical list of what to expect in preparing for your special day:

1. Celebrant requires one calendar month notice before wedding.
2. First meeting: allow one hr to complete Form 13 – Notice of Intended Marriage* 
3. Second meeting: allow 1.5-2hrs organising ceremony requirements: order of service, location – Celebrant can make recommendations for venues/locations, standard ceremony verses and can assist with wording of vows etc 
4. Client to approve first draft of Ceremony and submit any changes
5. Rehearsals (if required) 
6. Conduct Ceremony 
7. Register the Wedding – lodge all documents with relevant authorities

Services include signing table with white linen tablecloth, sash and table decorations. Modern PA system.

Also include visa letters, if required.

• Birth certificate
• Passport (for non-citizens), evidence of visa if required
• Evidence of death, nullity or dissolution (divorce papers, death certificate etc), if required

Of course! I’ve officiated for many weddings since I became a celebrant and I’ve found that we all have different dreams, different religious views, different reasons for getting married and different visions of a perfect ceremony. So I talk at length with you both and tailor a wedding ceremony that is right for you. Most couples find they have special experiences that they would like to include in the vows, but do not worry if you don’t, I have hundreds of examples for you both to draw inspiration from.
