It depends on a lot of things! Legally, to be married in Australia there are three things that need to happen in your ceremony: your celebrant needs to say some legal words, you and your partner need to recite the legal vows and there is some paperwork that needs to be signed. Everything else is up to you!
We can normally get through the legal elements in around 3-5 minutes, so the overall duration of your ceremony really depends on what you and your partner want included. For example, do you want your 'couple story' told, do you want readings or rituals, do you want to exchange personal vows and or rings? I love working with my couples to find out what is really important to them and then building a ceremony that suits them, their personalities and the vibe that they wish to have on their wedding day.
I do all my initial meetings via Zoom to see if we are a good fit. Comfy clothes/trackies/uggs are more than welcome!
If you book me as your celebrant, we will meet up face to face to sign the NOIM and do the fun ceremony planning stuff, over a coffee or wine.
Weddings on the Mornington Peninsula are exempt from any travel fees.
Travel outside the 70km radius of Beaumaris Victoria will be quoted upon enquiry.
