Definitely not!!! I love doing rehearsals, and believe they are such an important part of your wedding planning and they make your wedding day perfect. Besides all that - they are fun.
The rehearsal is when you get a chance to relax, to really visualise how your ceremony is going to be, and to have a laugh with your wedding party and a cuddle with your dad!
It's one of my favourite parts of your ceremony preparation, and we all have a laugh, a practice and a chance to just stop and breathe and imagine that it's all about to happen.
can i have a religious ceremony not in a church?

Yes - you certainly can! If you have some prayers, a favourite hymn, would like to do a 'prayers of the faithful' type sub-ceremony, or light candles - you can certainly bring these religious aspects into your ceremony.
