OVERVIEW
Elise of The Central Coast Celebrant is a fun-loving celebrant and qualified psychotherapist who describes herself as a bit of a “chameleon celebrant”. Elise will adjust her style according to your needs and will design a beautiful ceremony script. She puts couples at ease and is excellent at reading the room, which comes in handy when she performs MC duties.
Your marriage celebrant needs to be able to support you, guide you, and make you feel comfortable, which is why it's imperative you choose a celebrant able to do all this and more. Perhaps this is why Elise Childs, owner of The Central Coast Celebrant, is so sought after for Central Coast weddings.
Detail-oriented and highly organised, Elise uses her experience as a psychotherapist to take the stress out of the ceremony planning process, helping her couples feel relaxed and prepared for their beautiful ceremony. But don't let her professionalism fool you; Elise is as fun and lively as they come.
Elise is spontaneous and good-natured and loves sharing a laugh with her couples — preferably over a good cup of coffee. She's a real people person and will have your wedding guests laughing, crying happy tears, and captivated by her words.
''We highly recommend Elise. She made our day amazing with her friendly manner, warm and welcoming experience for all our guests. The lead-up paperwork was a breeze with her helpfulness and confidence. A beautiful service with many personal touches that we absolutely loved.” — Kelly

About
"I'm a people person." For me that is not just a saying, it's my life! I love meeting new people, and really enjoy having a laugh and finding out about them. Being a celebrant is the perfect profession for me, with a background in counselling, customer service and creative writing. I get to combine all the things I love, to create perfect ceremonies with my couples. The main thing in choosing a celebrant is that you feel comfortable with them, and trust them to understand exactly what you want.

Get Expert AdviceHow can I tell my sister her kids aren't invited to our wedding?
Hi there. We don't want to have kids at our wedding, but I also don't want to offend my sister. I adore my nieces but we want a particular vibe at our wedding. Any suggestions?
The Central Coast Celebrant
Hi,
As a celebrant and psychotherapist, this is a delicate topic.
I would suggest having a coffee/drink with your sister and speak about the wedding generally. I think the best approach is honesty, and say just what you have said here: You are trying to create a certain vibe. To soften the blow, you could say a friend/another relative has asked re kids, and you have said that there won't be any kids at the wedding. You are not alone in wanting this, or the dilemma. It's tricky, but can be handled without offence. Good luck, and good on you for putting your special day first. Cheers, Elise
