          1. The No-Obligation Vibe Check: We start with a relaxed chat (coffee or wine encouraged!) to see if we’re a match. It’s one of the biggest days of your life, so you need to feel 100% at ease with your celebrant.
          2. The Planning Power-Hour: We’ll meet for about 1.5 hours to dive into your love story and complete the Notice of Intention to Marry (NOIM). Note: The NOIM must be lodged at least one month before the big day.
          3. Crafting Your Script: I’ll draft a personalised ceremony that we can tweak until it’s perfect. I also provide a "Resources Kit" full of readings and vow inspiration to help you find the right words.
          4. The MC Masterplan: As we get closer, we’ll design your reception run sheet. We’ll talk about games, entry styles, and how to keep the energy high.
          5. The Rehearsal: We’ll have a final meeting or onsite rehearsal to calm the nerves and ensure the wedding party knows exactly where to be.
          6. The Big Day: I arrive early to check every detail—from straight ties to the rings—and stay by your side until the dance floor is officially open.

          FAQ

          During the ceremony, there are four things that must happen.

          • I must introduce myself by name as an authorised celebrant,  
          • I must recite the legal Monitum, 
          • both parties must also recite the legal Form of Vows as laid out in the Marriage Act, and then,
          • the couple, two witnesses and I must sign three marriage certificates.

          Outside that we can create your dream ceremony, as simple or elaborate as you want!

          • Evidence of date and place of birth e.g. original birth certificate or birth extract, passport
          • Photographic evidence of identity e.g. drivers licence, passport, proof of age card
          • Evidence of the end of any previous marriage/s e.g. divorce certificate, death certificate

           

          Ideally these original documents should be sighted at the time of lodging your NOIM with your celebrant.    

          An authorised Marriage Celebrant is appointed by the Federal Government to solemnise marriages according to the Marriage Act 1961. They may solemnise marriages anywhere in Australia including outside the State or Territory in which they reside. This means although I am based in South Australia - I can come to you wherever you are in Australia to officiate your day.

           

          There are two main tasks - the legal side of the wedding ensuring paperwork is completed on time, accurately, solemnising your wedding on the day and then registering the ceremony soon after.

           

          I will also help you to plan, design and deliver a ceremony that reflects the personality, "the feel" and wishes of both of you.

          As soon as you have a date - it is really wise to find that perfect Celebrant who aligns with you and lock them in. 

          My calendar is filling fast and as with Photographers and venues - to get the best person... well me, to help you, guide you and support you through your planning and day - so book straight away! 

          Dates are still available in 2026 and bookings for 2027 are now open.

          You must:

          • Be over 18 years of age
          • Not already be married
          • Not be related
          • Both consenting and willing to enter into  the marriage 
          • A one months’ notice must be given by signing The Notice of Intention to Marry form

          As long as you are no longer legally married and can supply evidence of the ending of that marriage - divorce certificate or death certificate of your previous partner, we can move forward.

          OMG...Steve was amazing, extremely organized and professional. We had 2 catch ups before the wedding, to make sure everything will be perfect on the day....and it was.           Hi , just wanted to know how much is it to book and do i have to pay extra for the marriage certifi?

          This is a great question, and one where you need to reach out to celebrants in your area to see what they offer as prices vary across the country.

          Our packages start from AUD550.00 for our Micro Wedding upwards.... 

          Most celebrants may offer a non refundable deposit to lock them in for your wedding date, with the balance due at a certain date prior to the wedding.

          You do receive a Presentation Certificate on your Wedding Day, but check with each celebrant whether the payment and ordering of your official Marriage certificate from BDM  (Birth Deaths and Marriages) is included, as I do.
