Hi, Gail Sutherland is my name and I am here to let you know a bit about myself. I am a mother of 4 children and grandmother to 4 children as well. My great love is everything weddings, I have always been very passionate about people getting married, and I have been married for 22 years myself. My mother was a marriage celebrant too, so I feel very privileged to carry on the tradition. My love for what I do starts with your booking, and I am intent on making your day the most fun it can be.

Celebrants can charge whatever they see fit for their services. As a guide it costs over $500 to be married at the registry office.
Most Celebrants also try and personalise the ceremony to suit the couple as much as possible. There are parts that are legal wording that have to be included in every ceremony.
I charge around the $500 mark, and i work as hard as I can to personalise the ceremony.

How long would I require a celebrant for?
Generally, when couples book a celebrant how long do they book them for?

There is no specific time frame, but around 2 hours would be the time a Celebrant would be required.
I like to arrive an hour before the ceremony, in case anything arises. The ceremony is usually around 20-30 minutes.
Then you have to pack up your equipment, that is also hoping that the Bride isn't too late
