I love being a Celebrant, and I have been privileged to bring happiness and joy to hundreds of couples around the Gold Coast over the past 15 years. The wedding ceremony is unique and exciting... I love seeing the radiant joy, the tear in the eye, breathlessness, as couples exchange their vows and wedding rings. Sincerity, authenticity and honesty make for a wonderful experience. My fiancé and I are planning to get married in Gold Coast and are looking for a celebrant who can incorporate our Catholic faith into the ceremony. While we understand that celebrants are unable to perform a full religious ceremony, we would love for the celebrant to profess the Catholic faith and include some scripture readings during the ceremony, as this is very important to us. Yes, you can, a bit of humour will break the tension and help you enjoy what your partner is promising. However, I say "a bit". Essentially vows should reflect your relationship to date and what you want going down the marriage pathway. Just don't be tooooo long. Enough is better than tooooo much.
