I am a pretty laid-back person, but I am also incredibly passionate about love. I LOVE love. So I am all in if you choose me as your celebrant, we can work together for as long as it takes to tailor the perfect wedding experience for you. You won't see me with a script in my hand on the day, you will see me making the crowd laugh, making eye contact with you both and gesticulating frantically with my hands. I trained as an actor in my early 20's, have been in dozens of theatre productions and too many films to count, so I am VERY comfortable in front of a crowd. 

I would say my biggest point of difference is my stage experience. I have been working in the theatre industry for over a decade, having performed all around Australia. I trained professionally at one of Australia's most prestigious colleges and am represented by a high-quality talent agency. I am extremely comfortable speaking in front of crowds, can memorize text with ease and, present truly unforgettable performances to your guests.

If you've seen something on the Gram and you want to try it for your wedding, then let's bloody do it! Bring me all and any ideas for your ceremony and we'll work it all out together. I am absolutely up for anything. This is your day and no one else's. If you want to have your ceremony halfway up a cliff on harnesses and the reception underwater all I'm going to ask is if you're supplying the wetsuits. 

I recently worked with a couple who had Jewish and Celtic ancestry, we performed a handfasting, a breaking of the glass (Mazul Tav!), they wrote their own vows, and bible verses were shared. Traditional weddings are popular for a reason, they're absolutely delightful and I eat up every little bit of it. If you have a family history you want to honour or a special person you want to include, then it's my job to assist you in facilitating that. Bring me all your ideas and requests and we'll work them out together. That's a guarantee. 

Just to be crystal clear, we WILL write a script. We will meticulously go over exactly what we want to happen on the day, down to the finest details on pronunciation and timing. But at the ceremony itself, you won't see me with a script in my hand. My performing arts background has given me the skills to memorize pages of dialogue and text and recount all staging directions with ease. Meaning that I have freedom of my hands and eyes to give a greater sense of connection to you, the couple, and your guests.
