Traditionally couples gave their guests 5 almonds to represent wishes of health, wealth, happiness, longevity and fertility for the bride and the groom. Today some couples still choose tradition but ultimately the options are endless.

We believe that your wedding day is special so we ensure that the bomboniere that you choose compliment your theme, reception decorations and style as well as being in some way unique to you.

Petrice at The Lolly Bar will discuss your wedding day with you including your budget and help you design the perfect bomboniere. We have access to a large range of bags, boxes, jars and confectionery in order for you to create something that suits you.

Some ideas include almonds or chocolate hearts in organza bags, coloured satchels filled with mini jelly beans, personalised chocolate bars, or perhaps you might like a handmade chocolate rose and heart corsage for each guest.

We can even provide the thank you and or place cards with each bomboniere. The Lolly Bar can provide the DIY bride with just what is needed, or for a small fee we can do the assembly of your bomboniere for you (I hear the groom''s saying, "yes, yes, yes"). This means it will be ready to go straight on the table.
