Service Description

Weddings at Westminster are exclusive and very special. We offer many wedding ceremony and reception locations that have the wow factor.

The impressive panoramic views from the David Jarman Room capture the tranquil view over manicured grounds and black gum trees through picture windows. The wide balcony offers plenty of space for you and your guests to enjoy all year round.

Our professional event management team will assist you with all aspects of your wedding ceremony and reception ensuring attention made to fine detail to create a memorable talking point for years to come, we offer tailor-made wedding packages ranging from cocktail style to a sit down reception. Menus and beverage packages are carefully selected to suit your own style and budget.

Outdoor private wedding ceremonies can be held within the beautifully landscaped grounds and gardens including:

The Cloisters a formal garden with a water feature
Amongst the white roses and purple wisteria of the Rose Arbour
The Japanese garden
The Sturt Grove Farm
The vineyards

Number of Guests:
David Jarman Function Room - 50 up to 120 sit down with dance floor, or 130 without a dancefloor. 180 for a Cocktail reception with a dancefloor
The Cloisters 50 to 200 for a cocktail reception

For our ceremony location we ended up booking Westminster School. We booked outside of the chapel in the garden and it was a perfect location with the roses down he side of the arbor, it was just stunning. I organised the ceremony with Fiona from Westminster and she was so lovely and helpful it made this part of the planning a breeze. She organised water for all the guests and soft drinks/wine/champagne for the bridal party, drivers and parents as we walked around for photos. There are many photos opportunities at Westminster, we went to the Cloisters, the Jap garden, the vineyard and around the old machinery and got some fantastic photos and because of the different scenery we didn't need to go anywhere else for photos. Fiona was very helpful, we had a wedding late October which can be a hard time to predict the weather so Fiona allowed us to book the chapel as a backup plan incase it was forecast to rain on the day and right up until the morning of the wedding we could change. Luckily it was a perfect day and the sun shone right as my dad was walking me down the isle. It was a beautiful location to ensure a perfect wedding ceremony.
