We are a destination wedding reception center that is close enough to Brisbane and the Gold Coast that you and your guests can drive instead of fly, yet far enough away that guests will also stay and enjoy this special time with you for a night or two.

This castle like English manor style venue has all the style and sophistication needed to ensure your wedding is not just remembered by you, but by all your guests!

We have standard packages or can tailor make one to suit your individual needs.  With previous custom made packages from $49pp for Ceremony & Canapes to $300pp we can create a package to suit your dream wedding day or weekend wedding.

We can cater for an intimate ceremony and/or reception of 20 guests to a gala event for 150 in a marque on the grounds or 110 in our spectacular Long Room. 

The Abbey is renowned as the "Most Spectacular Venue on the Southern Downs". This 120 year old heritage listed sandstone castle like building is now perhaps the premier wedding and function center in the region, with 13 rooms sleeping 26 guests and plenty of nearby accommodation.

Within and around the splendid Gothic sandstone building on 2 acres, the choice of ceremony, pre-dinner drinks, canapes and photographic opportunities are endless!
