I think my venue needs final numbers 2 weeks before. So maybe 3 weeks before?

A lot of invitations now say 2:30pm for 3pm start. This gives the guests a direct time for the ceremony start time without saying "don't be late!'
How can I guess/predict how many guests will RSVP 'Yes'?!

My question is why do you need to know this before actual RSVP date?
If you haven't already sent your invitations and you really need to know the answer then I'd put an earlier RSVP date.
Or just guess that there will be people who can't possibly go due to illness or circumstance.
Don't go to great expense before you know the answer.

It is usual to base your RSVP date on when your reception centre is wanting final numbers for catering.
I'd say 2-4 weeks before the wedding. Life happens so be prepared for people to drop out at the last minute.
