It’s best to contact and secure your date as soon as possible especially as we get booked-out far in advance, so preferably once you have chosen your Wedding date and reception contact us with your desired inspiration. 

We have arranged wedding flowers in under a week so always check if we can assist you. 

With Melia Rose Designs, we work the other way round. You let us know how much you would like to spend and your desired look. We will work with you and your budget and try to create the look you are after. We may be able to suggest different varieties of flowers or design in order to ensure you don't go over your desired budget.

Melia Rose Designs has extensive knowledge of what’s available each season and will help you choose the flowers that will be the most appropriate on your wedding day.

Some flowers are only available in certain months of the year and with Sydney's changing weather there maybe issues sourcing the exact flowers you want at the time. 

We are more than happy to suggest what's in season at the time of your wedding.

Once you have approved your quote and design brief, 50% of the invoice is due within 10days to secure your date. 14 days prior to your wedding the full balance is due.


Payments can be made via Direct Deposit or Credit Card*

The deposit of 50% is non refundable.

In the situation where your wedding date has changed we will endeavour to make ourselves available, if we are not available your 50% deposit can be used as a credit within three years of the original invoice date. 


Once your final payment has been made, 14 days prior to your wedding date changes to your design brief are only subject to change 7 days prior to the wedding date as this is when we place our orders with our suppliers.

We were so happy with our flowers from Melia Rose Designs! They were exactly what we’d hoped for and Tamara was great to work with - super friendly, responsive and helpful. Tamara really listened to the flowers we’d like and gave good advice and ideas. Tamara explained how she would spend the money and select the flowers and then dropped them to our houses on the day before setting up the flowers at the ceremony and reception perfectly. The value for money was exceptional and we couldn’t be happier with how the flowers turned out!

Tamara was amazing from the beginning, from first talking on our zoom call she knew exactly what I was envisioning for my wedding. She was able to make the most amazing arrangements with using the most beautiful Australian natives while also incorporating my South African National flower (protea). It looked so effortless. Tamara did an amazing job with our wedding. We could not recommend her enough! She was friendly, responsive, accomodating and was happy to work within our budget. Even though we had a limited budget for flowers she provided so much value for that budget with 4 beautiful bouquets, table flowers in mini vases and a large arrangement on plinths for the ceremony. She also gave us a presentation of the arrangements prior to ordering. The arrangements themselves were put together so beautifully. Thank you so much Tamara!

Is January a hard date for flowers to be supplied for a wedding?

Hello! My partner & I are getting married in Byron Bay and hoping for 11 Jan 2025. We have been told my a florist that flowers around that time are hard to get as wholesalers close normally until 14 January. We are wondering whether we should change our wedding date because we’d love to have some gorgeous flowers for the day and not a limited supply and ones that doesn’t match our colours & make us feel fab. I am not particular about type of flowers more style of bouquet and colours. The florist we have spoken to can’t really tell us either way if anything will be available and we feel is more focused on booking us than helping us be realistic. Your advice is appreciated!
