Jessie is a rare gem. She is young and gorgeous and made our ceremony so perfectly us! We knew we were in great hands and trusted her to lead us through the most exciting and emotional half an hour of our lives! I also believe I've made a friend and that's nice to know that someone that was such a big part of our Wedding day, will hopefully be witness to other celebrations throughout our lives.

We spend quite a lot of time meeting with different celebrants as it was important to us to find someone we felt really comfortable with. First of all, Jessie is such a lovely person and so easy to talk to. She is confident and has a great personality, but is also very thoughtful, warm and kind. She really wanted to spend time getting to know us and our relationship, in order to really personalise the ceremony just for us. Jessie made sure we had loads of information to help us with our vows/readings etc and ensured all of the paperwork we needed to complete was submitted on time. She also spent a lot of time with us to ensure we were comfortable with the flow of the ceremony and what needed to happen. She even ran through a mock ceremony with us even before we had booked with her. We had two meetings and then a phone catch up the day before for a final run through (Jessie offered to do a full rehearsal at our ceremony site but we decided not to do this). From the first meeting we felt 100% confident in Jessie’s services and she even went so far as to ask us what we would prefer her to wear on the day (she looked beautiful by the way). We had so many comments about what a wonderful celebrant she was and how beautiful and original our ceremony was. We would most definitely recommend Jessie to anyone and couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant for our special day.

From the moment we first met Jessie she was warm and made us feel instantly at ease. My husband and I were very happy with our wedding ceremony and thoroughly enjoyed our wedding day.
Jessie made sure that our wish to marry under the Fig Tree at Watsons Bay came true despite the poor weather. Five minutes before the ceremony was to commence and Jessie saw a sunny break in the weather, she rounded up all our guests and we held the proceedings outside. Jessie made our ceremony everything we hoped it would be and something we will treasure for the rest of our lives

Jessie conducted a very beautiful and personal wedding ceremony that not only we enjoyed but also our friends. Before we had our first meeting Jessie gave us a little “homework” to do – answering questions about love, relationships and our expectations of the wedding ceremony. When we then met there was a very strong and personal connection right from the start which Jessie then seamlessly incorporated in our ceremony. All we can say is a big THANK YOU JESSIE, and would recommend you any time again.

Jessie came to our house and sat down with us and helped us with all the paperwork.This was really good as we did not know what forms we needed to fill out. She then asked us questions about how we met, about our relationship etc. She then wrote us a beautiful ceremony which we could add or remove sections from if we wanted. On the wedding day she was beautifully dressed and was very professional. We wanted a wedding celebrant that was young and vibrant and that is what Jessie is. She blends in beautifully in our pictures and we loved the way she handled our guests and the way she spoke and conducted the ceremony. She was also good with the microphone. The reason for mentioneing this is that my husband and I have been to other weddings where the celebrant does not know how to talk properly into the microphone, but they stand around and wave and point with it so that nobody can hear them. Jessie is an insightful, creative and organised celebrant. She made the process of building a meaningful and personalised ceremony clear, easy and fun. Jessie explored our story and helped us to reflect on the nature of our relationship, which then helped us to crystallise what we wanted in our ceremony. We were also provided with resources to further personalise our wedding, including a gigantic booklet of ceremony ideas (both traditional and contemporary) and many readings and poetry. Beyond all this was Jessie's personable and insightful style; we instantly felt she was right to share this very personal experience with. What initially felt overwhelming became a meaningful experience building a beautiful ceremony piece by piece. In the end, the ceremony really felt like “ours” and was very natural. Our expectations were well exceeded!

Everything about Jessie encapsulates what I think it is to be the perfect celebrant. At our first meeting she came to our home, we talked over numerous cups of tea for 3 hours, she really 'got' us and we felt that we knew her very well by the end of it which was very important to us, there was a definite synergy of ideas and expectations. We combined a naming ceremony with our wedding for our daughter and Jessie merged the two ceremonies so effortlessly and perfectly. Jessie creates a very personal, intimate and magical ceremony and for us everyone commented on it, many friends saying it was the most beautiful ceremony they had attended, and we have all been to a lot of weddings! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jessie to anyone, including my closest friends. You just couldn't fail to be impressed.
