Bespoke ceremony if desired. Emma will craft a custom ceremony that reflects the two of you, your story, and your likes and dislikes - it will be completely personalised according to your preferences. It will not involve a survey! She will get to know you personally by talking with you.

About

Hi there! I live in Warrandyte just on the edge of the Yarra Valley with my family. I celebrated my 15th year as a celebrant in 2023, but each wedding feels special. I've always felt honoured to be part of this wonderful moment. If you work with me you'll get to know my professional writing and speaking skills, my relaxed attitude and a sense of humour. I don't do hundreds of weddings a year, so I get to know the couples I work with and treasure every moment.

FAQ

Do you offer a range of packages or is it one size fits all?

Absolutely! I have four specific packages from 'legals only' to 'bespoke' and some in between. The price reflects the level of service you need. Most couples know pretty quickly after a chat and a browse through which one will best suit their needs.

Can we make a tentative booking and vary the date later if we need due to covid or any other possible issues?

Yes - I will try to be as flexible as I can with you. It's a crazy time and I get it. If you would like to make a firm booking for me to be your celebant I do ask for a small deposit, but the date can be varied if circumstances demand it.

Can we bring our own ideas and creativity to the ceremony?

Please do! All I want is for you to have the ceremony you want. I will provide as much guidance and material as you need for us to build the ceremony that reflects you and your desires. If you have your own ideas let me know what they are so we can incorporate everything you want.

Do we have to fill in a survey?

No. I know thse are popular, but personally I would prefer to get to know you face to face, and anything you'd like me to include about you in the ceremony will come to light through a relaxed conversation, not a form to fill in.

We are so pleased we chose Emma as our wedding celebrant. She wrote and delivered a beautiful bespoke ceremony that we felt really told our story in a light hearted but meaningful way. We were extremely impressed given we only gave her 4 weeks notice of our wedding. Emma is an amazing speaker and was so engaging. In addition to this, she is so friendly and made us feel so comfortable throughout the whole process. Emma also organised our wedding certificate with Births, Deaths and Marriages and we had it in less than 3 weeks. We couldn't be happier with her service. Thank you so much Emma.

Best decision we made! We were drawn to Emma online due to the fact we wanted a tailored wedding to suit our personalities. She was extremely easy to work with (we had two false starts due to covid) which she was very accomodating and flexible about. She crafted our ceremony perfectly, with a lovely story around how we met based on our initial meeting with her. He background in play writing shone through. On the day, Emma’s delivery was incredibly polished and our ceremony was the perfect combination of emotion and humour. This is certainly a hard art to get the right balance between the two. Our guests raved about Emma and her delivery of a ceremony that was “perfect for us”. We would highly recommend Emma to anyone who is looking for a celebrant. You cannot go wrong! If you want a perfect, personalised and memorable ceremony, use Emma wood as your celebrant. We knew instantly from the moment we met with Emma, she was the one. Each time we met with Emma we felt comfortable and important which was something we didn’t know we needed in the midst of wedding planning stress. Emma was amazing from start to finish. We were planning our wedding from the UK, but this was no trouble at all for Emma, she was so helpful, and gave so many examples and suggestions for our ceremony. We could also tell Emma put a lot of effort into writing our ceremony, and tailored it perfectly to us. She kept us up to date, and explained everything to us, so we were well prepared, and it put our minds at ease.
