G’day, I’m Archibald Jacobs, I’m a celebrant based in Melbourne and I love celebrating life! I have over ten years of experience with events as a coordinator and a professional musician! Originally from rural NSW, I started my celebrant journey in 2020 and I just love creating people's special days. I’m also a creative bloke; I love to write, I love playing music and I love to spin a yarn. My partner also reckons I’m a hopeless romantic, but can you blame me?

I wear many different hats and provide a range of services. I really just want to be involved in making your day the best it can be! I can be your celebrant, your entertainment on saxophone, or your MC for the reception. I can do combination of the three or all of the above!

I am based in Melbourne, I live in the city with my beautiful partner and our dog where I often take advantage of the beautiful Fiztroy and Carlton Gardens nearby for cute, intimate weddings. I love to travel though, and given I'm from rural NSW, I enjoy taking the opportunity to get out and about to celebrate couples in stunnings locations across the country.
As part of my service, I will provide what is necessary for me to do my job. If I am your celebrant, I will bring my own PA system and wireless microphone set up. If I am serving up some sax goodness, I'll bring my own horn and clip on microphone, all complimentary!
Well there's the obvious. I LOVE love. I got into marriage being a celebrant after pivoting in my career from being a teacher. I wanted to use my skills of engaging large groups of people, and fostering connections, in tandem with my saxophone work, which is a fun combo!
My ceremonies have been described as a great mix of fun, laughter, with a healthy dash of earnest and sincerity.
Being from Deniliquin in rural NSW, I also pride myself on telling a ripper story, with a bit of mayo on top to add that light touch to your ceremony.
