Metropolitan Hotel

The Metropolitan Hotel boasts a magnificent, grand dining room. Built in 1874 and wonderfully maintained through to the present day, the Metropolitan offers an opportunity to make your special day truly memorable in a setting that is perfect for Classic Photography!

For those who'd like the whole venue all to themselves we can accommodate that, too. This will give you the option of a cocktail wedding for up to 200 guests or a sit down event for up to 90 guests with the classically styled front bar ready for drinks and canapes!   Beautiful leadlight windows compliment the period furniture.

For a cheaper package, a cocktail wedding option in our character-filled cellar is another available choice. Walk down our typical 1800s stairwell into a rustic room with low ceilings where your own private and intimate gathering can mingle.
