Doves by Day is a family owned company owned by Kevyn and Jody Day. Kevyn has been a pigeon fancier since he was a young boy and has carried his love for all things winged into his adult life. Jody, on the other hand has been a full time housewife and mum but always with an entrepreneurial flair. Jody had always had a vision of being involved in the wedding industry and after being inspired by a dove release company in the UK both decided this is what they would love to do as a profession. The search started for beautiful cages and baskets. We wanted our releases to be the most beautiful and professional releases in Victoria.

Recognised universally as a symbol of love and peace, the white dove transcends all cultures and traditions. The dove is associated with love, innocence, kindness and purity. Pure white Rock Doves (homing pigeons) are the only birds that should ever be used for releasing as these birds possess a natural ability to instinctively find their way home to their loft.Our birds also have been given extensive training before their first release.
