You're a couple who are genuinely in love. You love travelling and adventuring together, but you're both happy doing your own thing without getting too much FOMO.

You're as happy having a wine and watching a movie at home, as you are with a beer in hand, cutting up the dance floor in front of your favourite band.

ABOUT ME

I'm Sam. I love the ocean, music, travel, dogs (cats as well, actually) and photography.

My style and approach to shooting weddings are both candid and relaxed.

My aim is to have a bit of a laugh with you throughout the day, but ultimately make you forget I'm there, so we get some great shots as a result.

ABOUT YOUR DAY

If you're comfortable in front of the camera you get good photos. This is why it's so important to choose a photographer that you click with and not one that can simply just take pretty photos. Not everyone is a good fit for everyone, and on your most important day, a good fit is essential.

You'll very quickly forget I'm there and you'll barely notice the camera in the room. And that is where it starts getting good!

Candid, documentary style photos capturing real, genuine emotion.

After the ceremony, we'll quickly duck away to get some photos of just the two of you. But I know you'll be very keen to get back to your family (old and new) and your friends that came from all over to share in your celebrations.

Sam was there from the beginning of the day right to the last dance. He captured the day beautifully, exactly as i was hoping for. He mostly took shots that were not posed or staged, he just was there in the moment without being in the way or making anyone feel awkward. Of course he took some staged shots but absolutely loved how he caught people showing their raw emotions, its great to look back over the day and see those moments. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a chilled out and very skilled photographer.
