About
I developed a love for baking growing up attached to my Italian Grandmother’s and Mother’s hips in the kitchen, I developed a love for baking and creating very early on. This spark developed over the years and after completing a Certificate III in Pastry and Baking, and being rewarded with a highest achievement award and DUX of my graduating year, I knew I was destined to put my skill and passion to great use. From here ‘Something about Cake’ was born and we are growing each day.

All my Cakes are made fresh, 100% from scratch! This is something I feel very passionate about being a Pastry Chef by trade. I have created all my recipes from scratch and use only the finest quality ingredients - it makes a huge difference!
Absolutely! With the handy invention of ploystyrene foam tiers, this gives you the freedom to have whatever design you like, even if you only need to consider a small amount of actual Cake.
I offer delivery for all over Melbourne, it is definitely an option that is taken up by most brides & grooms to ensure safe arrival of their Cake. Delivery charge is dependant on exact location.
You absolutely can. I defintiely encourage all of my clients to book in for a complimentary Consultation and Taste Test.
Yes! Its quite common to be unsure of the exact design you want for your Wedding Cake, and that is why I am here. I will help you throughout the whole creative process, without overwhelming you with hundreds of options.
I always say the more notice the better! Generally though at least 5-6 months is ok, any more is a bonus, any less and it poses the risk of missing out on the day you require.
